Our perfect little miracle has proven to be just that, a little warrior.  And feisty.  Everybody who has had the pleasure of meeting our handsome little one describes him as exactly that. 

Good morning, everyone!  As I am sure you can guess, we have been quite busy.  Vince and I are currently with our little love, but I snuck out to eat a quick snack and give you a brief update.  Owen. Is. PERFECT.  He is doing very well and continues to take small steps in the right direction.  I am hoping Meemah will get on here today to give you a more detailed update, but I will leave you with this: he has figured out how to get his digestive system moving...Owen loves to poop!  The nurses have us cracking up because the last three poops have resulted in a full change of sheets for his little bed :)  They are continuing to increase his feeds as he learns to digest his milk, and his oxygen pressure continues to decrease-all great signs.

It's almost time for his next diaper change, so I need to head back in there.  Daddy gets to do some kangaroo time after...yay!!

I will try to get some pictures and a short video or two up here later this afternoon.
