Look who's 9 months old!

Happy 9 month birthday to you, sweet boy!  We cannot believe it is already the beginning of March and we are celebrating such a milestone!

Stats: Owen went to the pediatrician last Tuesday for his 9 month well check.  He was officially 15 lbs, 12 oz and 27 inches long!  He has gained 13 lbs, 3 oz and grown a full 12 inches since he was born-how crazy is that?! 

 

Look at how much you have grown, sweet boy!  You are so big and strong!  You love to sit up on your own and play with your toys (Your favorites include: your monkey, your football and anything you can bop that will make noise!).  You are chewing on anything and everything you can put in your mouth...Dr. A says those teeth should pop up very soon!  You knew exactly what to do the first time you tried eating big boy food.  Green peas seem to be your favorite thus far.  :)  You love to talk to daddy and me, listen to music, dance and giggle.  You light up when we walk into the room.  The best part of my morning is walking into your room as you wake up, greeted by those handsome blue eyes (just like daddy!) and that beautiful smile.  You grin from ear to ear and giggle as I say 'good morning handsome!'. 
You bring so much joy into every moment of every day.  We love you so big, Owen! 

Firsts: eating vegetables, drinking from a sippy cup, swinging at the park

We had some very special visitors this past month...Great Grandma Donna and Great Grandpa Don made the trek all the way from Sublette, IL to Round Rock to spend some quality time with their great grandson.

Owen, you are the most incredible little miracle, perfect in every way.  Daddy and I love you bigger than the sun, bigger than the moon, bigger than the stars!!  Happy 9 month birthday to you, sweet boy!
